ANZSIL congratulates the winners of the inaugural award: Elizabeth Brown (King's College London) and Sophie Ryan (University of Oxford). Elizabeth Brown's paper at the 2024 ANZSIL Annual Conference explored 'Internal Investigations into War Crimes Allegations: British and Australian Special Forces in Afghanistan'. Sophie Ryan's paper was titled 'Testing the Conventional Wisdom? Framework Issues in Cross-Border Human Rights Litigation Involving States.'
