Governance

The Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL) is incorporated in Australia as a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee. ANZSIL operates under its Constitution, and is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission.

Council

In accordance with the ANZSIL Constitution, the Council is comprised of nine members, including residents of both Australia and New Zealand, who are elected from amongst the membership at the Annual General Meeting each year:

The year denotes the year in which the Council member's current term expires (mid-year).

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting is held in July each year, in conjunction with the annual ANZSIL Conference. The agendas and papers of the AGMs can be found in the members' section.
