The Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law's Oceans and International Environmental Law Interest Group (OIELIG) and the Asian Society of International Law's International Environmental Law Group are pleased to co-host this webinar.

This webinar brings together leading experts to examine how traceability and emerging technologies can enhance international cooperation in forestry governance, support the legal timber trade, and foster environmental integrity. The panel will also explore the implications of Australia’s Illegal Logging Prohibition Amendment (Strengthening Measures to Prevent Illegal Timber Trade) Act 2024 and how these legal developments align with broader regional efforts to promote transparency, legality, and sustainability in global timber supply chains.
